Saw Mill Park Sign Southampton Township Vinentown New Jersey 08088 NJ History

Saw Mill Park Sign

Two new historic signs have been placed in the Village of Vincentown to identify locations of historic significance. The first has been placed along Race Street across from the mill dam and the Billy K. Haines Schoolhouse. It identifies the location of the early Saw Mill along Rancocas Creek in Vincentown. The saw mill was one of several in the area operated by Joseph Burr, an early developer of Vincentown, whose home on 52 Mill St. is one of the most historic homes in Vincentown.
