"WAG YOUR TAIL" DOG SHOW - JUNE 7th

The "Wag Your Tail" Dog show will be held on Saturday, June 7th at the Southampton Municipal Complex on Route 206 and Retreat Road in Vincentown. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and classes start at 10:00. Click below for a list of classes (there are 21 in all -- among them "Best Costume", "Shortest Tail", "Cutest Butt" and many more). Donation is $5.00 per class, benefit the Southampton Historical Society.

NEW "VINCENTOWN" COLLECTIBLE COMMEMORATIVE JAR AVAILABLE

The Southampton Historical Society has available for purchase a new commemorative item:
A POTTERY JAR handcrafted by Rowe Pottery Works, Cambridge, Wisconsin.
The jar measures 7" high and 4" in diameter. The words "VINCENTOWN, NEW JERSEY" are printed on the front, along with an image of a pine cone.

PRICE: $28.00 each

CHRISTMAS IN NOVEMBER

Christmas in November, the annual bazaar sponsored by the Southampton Historical Society will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008 from 9 AM until 3 PM at the Vincent Fire House on Race Street in Vincentown. Activities will include a Chinese auction, craft vendors, lunch, games for children. "Vincentown, New Jersey" pottery jars will be available for purchase.

CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING

- Main Street - Friday evening, December 5, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. Christmas Carols led by students from Southampton Schools, and Santa will make an appearance. Visit Santa at the Grange on Main Street after the Tree Lighting.
