2007 Service Bond Program
Policy
The
Service Bond Program enables STRA to provide high quality facilities for the
youth of the community as well as the convenience of a concession stand at
Memorial Park. The concession stand profits will continue to provide funds for
the baseball and softball programs (equipment, umpire fees, field maintenance
& improvements). This program
requires every family with a child participating in baseball or softball to
participate in the SBP OR to
pay the $40 exemption fee. The SBP requires a family member (at least
18 years of age) to fulfill a service requirement of 6 hours between March 1
and June 30. In addition to the
registration fee, a $40 work bond is required.
A separate check or money order made payable to STRA for $40 and
dated March 15, 2007 should be submitted along with the completed form
below in addition to your child(ren)’s registration form and registration
fee. Your work bond payment will be
returned when your service requirement has been completely fulfilled. No partial amounts will be returned. It is
the responsibility of each family to schedule service time no later than April
15, 2007.
